Unfolding Disability Futures

  • The Plant 1400 W. 46th St. Chicago United States (map)

Unfolding Disability Futures is a multi-organization, site-specific dance and visual art event organized by local disabled artists and held throughout The Plant. Please be aware that, as part of this ambitious and uplifting project, a temporary art exhibit on display in the Packingtown Museum through June 15 restricts visibility to several Museum exhibits.

We invite you to experience the space in a very different and exciting way through the installations and performances that are part of Unfolding Disability Futures. Evening performances will take place on Sat. Jun. 4 & 11, and afternoon matinees will be held on Sun. Jun. 5 & 12. Performances begin every half-hour. For each one-hour performance cycle, audiences will be guided through The Plant in groups of ten to experience six original dance works set in various locations throughout the building, as well as six visual artist spotlights.

Visit www.unfoldingdisabilityfutures.com for more information and to reserve tickets for a specific time slot.
